Em and Ross are the lucky winners of the Lula Mai ‘The Big Day’ wedding competition, which I am proud to be supporting along with Nick Stevens, and various other wedding supplies. All of whom have donated their services for this very worthy cause. The competition required its entrants to serve in the armed forces or medical services, and to share their story, as to why they have not been able to marry until now. Ross is a pilot for the RAF and Em is a trainee Midwife. This wonderful couple’s story can be discovered on the Lula Mai ‘The Big Day’ blog. First was the Pre Wedding Shoot for Em and Ross.
Em’s dream has always been to have their photograph taken in an engine bay. As you can see, we have been able to make this wish come true. The retired Tristar aircraft pictured below, was the last Tristar that Ross flew, before moving onto other jets. As a photographer it was a dream come true for me also, to have access to Bruntingthorpe Airfield, Leicestershire.
This was such a wonderful day. I enjoyed working with and getting to know Em and Ross. I am truly delighted to be able to share their story and am really looking forward to the wedding day in April 2015.
